Welcome to Berlin!

Start of the Joint Master in Global Economic Governance and Public Affairs in Berlin

After a first term in Rome with our partner, the School of Government LUISS Guido Carli, the participants of the our new Joint Master in Global Economic Governance and Public Affairs (GEGPA) started their second term at CIFE in Berlin.

The first two weeks of their programme included introductory lectures on sustainable development and governance; a case study on the governance of  Supranationals and a workshop about ‘Financing Sustainability’at the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW). At KfW, the German Development Bank at the forefront of sustainability, the GEGPA students exchanged in an open and inspiring dialogue with treasurer Dr Frank Czichowski and the KfW team.

Students also enjoyed a special guided tour of Berlin - a "tablet walking tour"  where they could compare some of the capital's main attractions with historical pictures of former times.
The GEGPA students will stay in Berlin until mid-April and then move on to their last study destination - Nice - from April until the end of June.
