Teaching Methods

Our programmes aim at offering a teaching which is academic and at the same time directed towards the professional world by giving students the possibility to enter into dialogue with decision-makers from the economic and political world, stakeholders and diplomats as well as officials from international and European organisations. The variety of lecturers, visits to different European countries and our international partners enable such a broad outlook.
Contributions of experts enrich the content of the modules. In the “journées d’actualités”, for example, students have the opportunity to discuss current conflicts in world politics with experts specialised in these subjects.

Lecturing in the four modules can take different formats:

Lectures, conferences, colloquiums and seminars with interactive elements.

Benefiting from its international composition, each year students participate in various role games to enhance their understanding of problems of collective action and the art of negotiation in different environments such as the EU, the UN and federal states.

Research for the thesis at the end of the program will enable students to delve into a specific subject in more detail and acquire important skills for the job market.

In our documentation centre, reviews, books and a great number of electronic resources are at the students’ disposition. Lecturing is accompanied by online learning management system to facilitate communication among students, lecturers and staff.
