 Policy Officer in European and International Organisations: MAEIS now recognised by the French state as a qualification of the Master level

The diploma delivered by the Institut européen•European Institute (IE•EI) “Master in Advanced European and International Studies” (MAEIS) is now recognised by the French State as a qualification of the Master level. The title « Chargé de mission en organisations européennes et internationales » has been registered in the National Register of Professional Certifications (Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles – RNCP) by the Minister in charge (Journal Officiel of 14.4.2012).

The title is registered on the level I (Bac+5), which corresponds to level 7 in the European Qualifications Framework.

 


Remziye Yilmaz (MAEIS Anglophone Branch 2010) distinguished with the YilmazEEX Excellence Award

The European Energy Exchange has created an award for outstanding academic theses in the field of energy.
Among this year's laureates is Remziye Yilmaz for her thesis on "The Interdependence between Energy and Foreign Policy: Russia and Turkey as Case Studies".

She received the prize on the occasion of the opening of EEX's Brussels office, in the presence of EU Commissioner Günther Oettinger.


On the 1st of January 2012 the IEHEI has changed its name into:
"Institut européen·European Institute".

Club de Nice
The "Club de Nice” held its 10th Anniversary Forum on 1, 2 and 3 December 2011.

The "Club de Nice" has been initiated by request of the City of Nice and is run by the Institut Européen des Hautes Etudes Internationales in cooperation with the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Centre de Recherches Entreprises et Sociétés of Geneva. Its main goal is to offer public and private leaders in the field of energy a regular place to meet and discuss their specific problems in a constantly changing world.
